Daisy Lucio came to The Ziegenfelder Company almost a year ago with big dreams. At the company’s plant in Chino, California, Daisy found a place that provided room for her dreams to grow even bigger.

“I started in the production room as a line worker,” said Daisy. “I liked working in the production room because it smells so good!”

When a position as an administrative assistant opened, Daisy jumped at the opportunity to learn something new. “I did not think twice and talked to my current manager, Zach. I asked him to give me the opportunity and show him what I was capable of and my dream came true. I appreciate Zach for this and all the people who helped.”

The new position taught Daisy more about herself than when she started. She said patience is the key to success especially learning a new job.

“Working in the front desk seems so easy, but when I learned about all the responsibilities I have, that is what makes it more wonderful,” said Daisy. “It keeps me busy and makes my brain work. I love it!”

Outside of work, Daisy enjoys going to the gym and leads an active lifestyle. She loves traveling and experiencing news things.

“I guess I’m an adventurous girl,” said Daisy. “My next thing in mind is to go for a skydive. I love the adrenaline and that would be amazing to experience. I live with my boyfriend and my cute little puppy that is like my child. He acts like a real kid. My boyfriend has been there for me when I’ve needed it most. And my puppy makes everything better on those rainy days.”

Daisy is a college grad and she also has an associate's flight attendant certificate. For the time being, she has no plans to use that certificate.

“Someday I would like to pursue my career,” said Daisy, “But for now, I love being close to my family. And working for Ziegenfelder is fun!”
