“The culture really attracted me to The Ziegenfelder Company,” said the newest addition to the Zieggy Tribe’s sales force, P.J. Turner.  He started as the Director of Sales in the beginning of September.

“Everyone has been really kind and willing to help take me in as a new tribe member,” said P.J. “I love the tribe atmosphere where it feels like a large family. It feels like a safe place where honest opinions and feedback are encouraged, and without judgement.”

P.J. joins the Zieggy Tribe with a long career in various sales leadership roles. Prior to The Ziegenfelder Company, he was employed with Dean Foods since 1998. Outside of work, P.J. enjoys spending time with his wife of 21 years, Lynn, and their two sons, 16-year-old Patrick and 14-year-old Cole.

“We live near Winston-Salem, North Carolina,” said P.J. “We are pretty fortunate that we live near the mountains and the coast. This gives us the opportunity to enjoy snow skiing in the Winter and to be beach bums in the Summer.  We are avid fans of Clemson University, the 2017 NCAA Football National Champions!”

P.J. is also a fan of giving back. He participates in a project through his local church to help those in need.

“I help to organize and lead a food ministry effort at my local church where we feed the homeless in Winston-Salem,” said P.J. “ We serve roughly 100 needy people every Thursday and Sunday night in downtown Winston-Salem.  I wish I had more time to devote to helping take care of the less fortunate and seemingly forgotten in our community.  The need is certainly there.”

As a new member to the Zieggy Tribe, P.J. is trying to following his own advice that he offers up to other new Zieggy Tribe members.

“Dive in head first,” said P.J. “Allow yourself to be vulnerable and trust your tribe members.  Don’t be shy, ask for help.  Roll up your sleeves and get started. Nothing is more satisfying than to hear a customer say that we are a great partner and that they appreciate what we do to help make them successful.  In my short tenure, I have already been able to receive this feedback.  You can tell from the demand of our popsicles that we make an excellent product that is admired by our customers, and consumers.”
