Chief Customer Officer
P.J. Turner is the Chief Customer Officer at the Ziegenfelder Company. He joined the Zieggy Tribe in 2017 and is responsible for cultivating successful customer relationships and the oversight of all sales and marketing strategies.
A veteran in the consumer-packaged goods industry, P.J. brings more than 25 years of experience to the team. Prior to his promotion as CCO, he served as the Director of Sales for the Ziegenfelder team. His tenure in the industry also includes a long stint with Dean Foods, where he held various positions, climbing the ladder from a Territory Sales Manager to a Director of Sales. P.J.’s work ethic has always been customer focused since his junior high days, where he started his first job of cutting neighborhood lawns.
Turner holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Newberry College. During his time at Newberry, P.J. was a 4-year letterman and captain of the baseball team.
Outside of work, P.J. enjoys reading, exercising, fishing, college football and the MLB. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Lynn, and their two sons, Patrick & Cole. P.J.’s proudest moment is being the first member in his family to graduate from college. P.J.’s accomplishments in life can be attributed to following some of the best advice he’s ever received, “Practice makes perfect, so be careful what you practice”.
